About the PI - Yvonne Y. Gao​

Yvonne is an associate professor in the Department of Physics and a Principal Investigator in the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore. Her research leverages bosonic cQED devices to study interesting phenomena and useful applications in quantum information science.Â
Yvonne is also an active community-builder, spearheading several initiatives to inspire and empower the next generation of young scientists. Her contributions to advancing quantum technologies and pushing for positive changes in the scientific community have brought her many prestigious accolades, such as the Young Scientist Award, the Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF) Fellowship and MIT Tech Review’s Innovator’s Under 35 (Asia-Pacific), Singapore Young Award, and recently the IYQ Quantum 100 Award.Â
